Stryper: 1985 - Soldiers under command

4 puntos importantes sobre la banda: La inigualable voz de Michael Sweet, la excelente calidad del grupo, sus colores característicos (amarillo y negro) y sus letras cristianas.
Aclaro que no es su primer disco, el primer disco fue The yellow and black attack!, pero en una versión con menos canciones que la publicada en el blog.
Muy buen disco de éstos tipos que se robaron las miradas y elogios de todos.

Segunda versión de su primer disco (en 1984), que no subí al blog por la repetición de sus canciones. Aparte de eso, esta versión incluye mas canciones.
Recomiendo todas las canciones.

Se nota una mejora en el toque del grupo.
Honestly, Honestly, Honestly que gran balada.
Pero no es lo único que tiene de bueno, también está mi preferida Free, Calling on you, The way y Rockin' the world.
En resumen, un discazo.

Disco que cita la leyenda escrita en los billetes de dolar (y sus creencias).
Always there for you, In god we trust, I believe in you (balada al estilo Honestly), The world of you and I y la energética The reign, serían las recomendadas del disco.

Stryper: 1990 - Against the law

Éste disco "ahuyentó" a muchos de sus fieles fanáticos, sorprendidos por que el grupo dejó sus colores característicos y tuvo un claro cambio de estilo tanto musical, como estéticamente.
Fuera de eso el disco es recomendable (aunque prefiero los anteriores).
De éste disco recomiendo a Two time woman, Two bodies (one mind one soul), la excelente balada Lady (de las mejores que he escuchado), Caught in the middle, All for one y la poderosa Rock the hell out of you.
También destaco a la canción que me hace recordar a Earth, wind & fire, Shining star.

Disco compilatorio que incluye dos canciones: Can't stop the rock y la excelente Believe.
Último antes de que el grupo se separara y Michael Sweet haya decidido formar una banda como solista a comienzos del año 1992. Hecho que obligó a Ozz Fox, guitarrista del grupo, a reemplazarlo en la voz en algunos conciertos.

Tim Gaines, bajista del grupo, deja la banda y lo reemplaza Tracie Ferrie.
No hay palabra que pueda describir éste disco, no existe algo mejor que excelente.
Totalmente recomendado, pero mis canciones preferidas son Rain, If I die y la nueva versión de In god we trust, I.G.W.T.
