Dreamtide: 2001 - Here comes the flood

Dreamtide, banda alemana, se forma en el año 2001, por el guitarrista de Fair warning, Helge Engelke, el baterista C.C. Behrens y el teclista Thorsten Lüderwaldt. Luego, ingresó el vocalista de Jack's hammer, Olaf Senkbeil y el bajista de Talon y Thunderhead, Ole Hempelmann.

En ese mismo año, publican el disco Here comes the flood, para el sello Frontiers.

Sus discos son excelentes, donde destaco el espectacular estilo de Helge Engelke en la guitarra, y este disco en particular comienza con una de mis canciones preferidas (no sólo de la banda), What you believe in.

Dreamtide: 2003 - Dreams for the daring

En el año 2002, Engelke estuvo en el proyecto de Lana Lane, en el disco Project Shangri la, y en el disco de Genius.

En el año 2003, la banda publica su segundo disco, titulado Dreams for the daring, que nuevamente (a mi gusto) incluye una super canción: Live and let live.

En el año 2005, Olaf Senkbeil estuvo en los coros de Helloween, y en septiembre, estuvo en la banda en vivo de Uli Jon Roth.

Durante el año 2007, la posición de Hemplemann la tomó el bajista de Scorpions, Francis Buchholz.

En el año 2008, la banda publica Dream and deliver, que sigue perfectamente la línea del grupo.
