H.e.a.t: 2008 - H.e.a.t

La excelente banda H.e.a.t, comienza su vida a inicios del año 2007, de las cenizas de dos bandas. Comenzaron a escribir y a tocar con una muy buena recepción por parte del público. A los pocos meses, firmaron con el sello StormVox, teniendo la oportunidad de tocar junto a Toto y a la banda de heavy metal, Mustasch.

En abril del 2008, estando la banda compuesta por el vocalista Kenny Leckremo, los guitarristas Dave Dalone y Eric Rivers, el bajista Jimmy Jay, el baterista Crash y el teclista Jona Tee, publican el disco H.e.a.t, que recibió excelentes críticas por parte de sus seguidores, y de la crítica. Y no por nada los elogios, el disco, como su discografía es sencillamente impecable.

La publicación fue seguida por presentaciones junto a Alice Cooper y Thin Lizzy, y también en varios festivales, como el Sweden rock festival.

H.e.a.t: 2010 - Freedom rock

El año 2009, lo comenzaron con una gira europea de cinco meses de duración junto a Edguy a la cabeza. En el mismo año, estuvieron participando en Eurovision, con su excelente canción 1000 miles, la cual se convirtió en un éxito en Suecia. Dicha canción, la agregué deliberadamente como bonus en esta entrega, en su versión de estudio.

Terminando el año, H.e.a.t. entró al estudio Boomroom, para comenzar a grabar su siguiente entrega. Durante las grabaciones, el grupo comenzó a notar cierta lejanía por parte de su vocalista, Kenny Leckremo, quien tenía intenciones de quedarse en Inglaterra. Finalmente, su excelente álbum se titularía Freedom rock, y sería publicado en mayo del año 2010, y con él, comenzaron una serie de presentaciones por europa. Después de unas presentaciones por Inglaterra, Kenny le informó al grupo su decisión de retirarse por motivos personales.

H.e.a.t: 2012 - Address the nation

Con el fuerte golpe de la partida de su vocalista, la banda se mostró determinada en continuar, y comenzaron la búsqueda de su reemplazo, llegando a recibir cerca de 200 propuestas para ocupar el puesto que Leckremo había dejado. Aún así, la banda tenía en miras al ganador del Swedish Idol, Erik Grönwall.

La banda trató de convencerlo para una serie de presentaciones, pero Erik al encontrarse focalizado en su carrera, rechazó la propuesta. Un par de semanas después, en una fiesta de lanzamiento, Jimmy le preguntó, de nuevo, si quería estar en alguna presentación con la banda. Luego de que Erik lo consultara con su manager, vio que su destino estaba con H.e.a.t.

Con la llegada de Erik, la banda comenzó a adaptar un nuevo sonido que fuera más acorde al nuevo vocalista, dedicándose a escribir canciones por más de un año. Mezclaron varias ideas, y vieron que nunca antes habían tenido tanta química.

Con al rededor de treinta canciones escritas, consiguieron un contrato con Gain/Sony music. Para comenzar a trabajar, contaron con la ayuda del productor Tobias Lindell, ganador de un premio Grammy. En noviembre del año 2011, entraron al estudio para grabar su tercera entrega, que finalmente se titularía Address the nation, y que fue publicado en marzo del 2012.

Con la excelente recepción de la excelente canción Living on the run, la banda comenzó una serie de presentaciones, dejando al 2012 como el mejor año del grupo a la fecha. Y la historia de esta excelente banda, se sigue escribiendo...
