Slaughter: 1990 - Stick it to ya

En 1988 los ex miembros de Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Mark Slaughter y Dana Strum, deciden formar la banda reclutando al guitarrista Tim Kelly y al baterista Blas Elias.
El grupo empezó grabando la canción Shout it out para la película Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.
El mayor éxito se lo llevaron Fly to the angels y Up all night. Aunque no está de mas recomendar a Burnin' bridges, Eye to eye, las excelentes baladas You are the one y Desperately.

Slaughter: 1995 - Fear no evil

En 1993 el guitarrista Tim Kelly fue arrestado con cargos de tráfico de drogas, mientras que Dana Strum sufrió un accidente con su motocicleta.
Aunque la banda planeaba sacar a la venta su nuevo album en el 1994, se tuvo que retrasar, ya habiendo sacado su video Searchin'.
Mientras Tim Kelly solucionaba sus problemas legales, su reemplazo fue Dave Marshall.
Esta vez recomiendo a Let the good times roll, Hard times, Yesterday's gone, Outta my head, la excelente balada It'll be alright y (una de mis favoritas del grupo) Unknown destination.

Slaughter: 1997 - Revolution

Solucionados los problemas legales de Tim Kelly, vuelve a la banda.
El disco trae un sonido ligeramente mas duro, aunque a mi parecer, Slaughter, es de las pocas bandas que no deterioraron demasiado su estilo original.
Ésta vez recomiendo a Tongue in groove, Hard to say good-bye, Revolution, In the heat of the moment, I'm gone y (a mi gusto) la mejor balada del grupo You're my everything.

Slaughter: 1998 - Eternal live

A principios de 1998, Tim Kelly fallece en un accidente automovilístico.
Su partida hizo peligrar al grupo, pero decidieron continuar con la banda.

Slaughter: 1999 - Back to reality

Luego de la partida de Tim Kelly, su primer reemplazo volvió a ser Dave Marshall, siendo rápidamente reemplazado por Jeff Blando (previamente miembro de Left for dead y Saigon kick). Con quien editan éste disco.
En el 2003 Blas Elias compartió la batería con Bobby Rock en algunos conciertos y momentáneamente fue reemplazado por Tim DiDuro en el 2006.
Mis recomendaciones son: Killin' time, Take me away, Love is forever, Bad groove, On my own, Nothin' left to lose y otra de mis favoritas All fired up.
