Great white: 1983 - Out of the night

La banda comienza llamandose Dante Fox. Sus miembros eran Jack Russell (vocalista), Mark Kendall (guitarrista), Don Costa (bajista) y Tony Richards (baterista), quien mas tarde se iría a W.A.S.P..
La banda para sobresalir de las demás, estuvo siempre pegada al estilo de los setenta, un Hard Rock clásico.
Éste es su disco debut, con coros de Don Dokken. Él y Michael Wagener produjeron la grabación.
La calidad del disco, no supera la de sus posteriores trabajos, pero vale la pena tener estas versiones de las canciones.

Great white: 1987 - Once bitten...

Éste disco sacó dos versiones distintas, una para Europa y otra para América. La versión europea trae canciones de la época pre-Shot in the dark, que no habían sido publicadas en ése continente, y otro orden de canciones que la versión americana. Face the day es un cover de los autralianos The angels, mientras que Gimme some lovin' era original de The Spencer Davis group.
Las dos versiones tienen lo suyo, muy buenos discos.
Recomiendo las canciones Rock me, All over now (de las dos versiones) y Save your love (de la versión americana).

Éste fue el disco mas exitoso de la banda, también salió en dos versiones. La americana, sin bonus, y la europea. Subí la versión europea con los bonus.
El éxito del disco, en especial con la canción Once bitten twice shy, llevó a la banda a hacer la gira mas grande de su historia. Lamentablemente se tuvo que cancelar, luego de que Russell fuera golpeado por un borracho en la cabeza, con una botella.
