Por otra parte, Steve Lukather recomenzó su carrera como solista, publicando Candyman, en el año 1994.
Continuando con Toto, después del fuerte golpe de la partida de Jeff Porcaro, incluyeron entre sus filas al baterista acreditado en bandas como Judas priest, The who, Ian Gillan, Michael Schenker group, Simon Phillips.
